September, 9th, 2001 "Sirocco Aerospace International" signed with CASC the Purchase Contract for delivery to China of 5 (five) cargo Tu-204-120C aircraft. These aircraft are planned for delivery in 2002-2003.

August, 14th - 19th , 2001 "Sirocco Aerospace International" in collaboration with AIR CAIRO airline participated in the International Aerospace Salon (MAKS - 2001) in Moscow. Tu-204-120 aircraft operated by Air Cairo airline performed in everyday flights (see photo gallery). During the airshow the Protocol about intention between "Sirocco Aerospace International" and Kazan aviation plant named after Gorbunov has been signed. In accordance with this document parties are going to create the new version of Tu-214 with RR engines. "Sirocco Aerospace International" announced establishment of the Product support office in U.K. "Sirocco Aerospace International" announced the Memorandum of understanding with the French Sogerma on cooperation and services for Tu-204-120 worldwide.

June, 12th - 17th , 2001 The international Advisory Board meeting of "Sirocco Aerospace International" took place in St. Petersburg.

22 January, 2001 The scheduled Board of Directors meeting of the Sirocco Aerospace Int. took place in Moscow. The main item of the agenda was production program of five Tu-204-120 aircraft.

1 December, 2000 Sirocco Aerospace Int. regular meeting of the International Advisory Board took place in London. The evaluation of the program's development has been given.

30 November, 2000 Sirocco Aerospace Int. executive Board conference took place in London to define the strategy for the 2001-2002 period.

23 November, 2000 JAA Management Briefing of Tu-204-120 successfully passed in Hoofddorp (Holland). The Tupolev technical presentation has been delivered by Sirocco Aerospace International on request of the JAA PCM.

October 23, 2000 "Sirocco Aerospace International" Board of Directors meeting took place in Moscow. In-depth comprehensive evaluation of the Tu-204-120 program development was given.

• CJSC "Aviastar-SP" General Director Mr. G. Korotnev informed on considerable increase of aircraft production at the manufacture's plant in Ulyanovsk - 80% increase for 9 months as compared to the similar period of the last year. The increase of production volume is due to Tu-204 series production increase, as well as Àn-124-100 "Ruslan" production increase. By the end of the current year "Aviastar" schedules to deliver 3 aircraft of Tu-204, including one Tu-204-120 - for "Sirocco". In 2001 6 Tu-204-120 aircraft are scheduled for delivery to our company.

• OJSC "ASTC Tupolev" Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. I. Shevchuk described the prospects of Tu-204 family development program for the period 2001 - 2002, which was approved and supported by Rosaviacosmos (RUSSIAN AEROSPACE AGENCY). In particular, the program provides significant aircraft avionics modernization and conversion of the existing cabin to a two-man cockpit. The Program' evaluation will be done in course of the next "Sirocco" Board of Directors meeting.

October, 5th-6th, 2000 - The negotiations of the JAA and Aviaregister of Institute Aviation Committee, Russia, (AR IAC) representatives took place in Hurtrop (Netherlands). Russian delegation was headed by Mr. Knivel À.Ya. - vice-president of IAC, Mr. Kruglov À.G. - chairman AR IAC, and representatives Sirocco Aerospace. The meeting has passed in a constructive key, the particular steps in direction of accordance with the flight validity standards of EU and CIS countries were intended. Solution on restart of the aircraft Tu-204-120 certification process was achieved during negotiations.

September, 25th - October, 02th, 2000 - Scientific practical conference on aircraft Tu-204-120 operation by the Egyptian airline "AIR CAIRO/CAIRO AVIATION" took place in Cairo (Egypt). The Sirocco Aerospace Int., Tupolev Design Bureau, JSC "Aviastar", JSC "Aviapribor" representatives took part in a conference. High technical parameters and operational qualities of three aircraft Tu-204-120/120C (2 passenger + 1 cargo), operated by airline "AIR CAIRO/CAIRO AVIATION", were confirmed.

09.09.2000 - The JSC "Aviastar" plant (Ulyanovsk) has delivered to the SIROCCO AEROSPACE INTERNATIONAL company the next Tu-204-120 aircraft (onboard #64025) in passenger version at September 09, 2000. The new aircraft will be operated by AIR CAIRO. It is the fourth aircraft delivered in to Egypt within the framework of the SIROCCO program.

07.08.2000 - The SIROCCO AEROSPACE INTERNATIONAL Board of Directors periodical meeting took place in Paris at August 7-8, 2000, during which the program of Tu-204-120 aircraft European certification promoting was approved.

23.06.2000 - An International Advisory Board of "Sirocco Aerospace International" has been formed with participation of the representatives of governmental, international financial and business institution. The first meeting of the Board took place in Moscow.

22.06.2000 - "Sirocco Aerospace International" participated in technical conference at Tupolev design bureau on perspective of Tu-204 aircraft family
